Accessibility... further details
Both ground floor apartments are housed within Riverside House a large Victorian property situated on the banks of the River Dee in Llangollen. It is a central but quiet location in the town centre and is within easy walking distance to all that the town offers in the way of tourist attractions, pubs and restaurants.
The property is also home to The Natural Health Clinic which offers various and optional natural therapies.
Access to both apartments is from the back of the large white building in Princess Street, a cul-de-sac that runs directly parallel to the river. Parking on the street can be quite limited, particularly during the summer, but the owners are usually on hand to help, park and manoeuvre if required!
The entrance to both Mews apartments is from a small courtyard which is filled with colourful windowboxes and containers. Entrances are paved and well lit. The apartments are both newly refurbished and are decorated in neutral minimalist style. There are plenty of electrical sockets!
Whilst we certainly do not discourage children, the accommodation is more suitable for couples or small families wanting a quiet but central location. Both are non smoking.

Mews 3
Our newly converted basement apartment opens onto the front of the building and then onto the Riverside Walk itself. It is light, cool and peaceful and has been described as a perfect 'haven or retreat' by guests. It is ideally suited for a couple or single person.
Access is from Riverside Walk itself and there is no vehicular access to the entrance gate. On road parking is available at the back of the building in Princess Street and access to Riverside Walk is via public steps down to the promenade. The steps are situated adjacent to the property next door. Access is also available through the main building whish also houses the The Natural Health Clinic. The owners of the properties can be on hand to help unload if necessary. Due to the presence of these steps Mews 3 would be unsuitable for an elderly or disabled person.
A half glass door with a glass side panel opens and steps up into the living /dining area where there is a dining table, t.v., two seater settee and easy chair with coffee table. The kitchen area is to the left and contains a fridge, cooker and washing up area. A small shower room with toilet and wash hand basin are opposite the kitchen area. To the left is a spacious double bedroom with wardrobe and chest of drawers. There is a large basement window in this room and another window in the kitchen area.
The river is visible through the glass front door and access to the gate and onto the Walk itself is via a couple of slate steps at right angles to the door. Despite this easy access, the layout is such that there is also privacy.
The access is approximately mid point between the Corn Mill and the Riverside childrens' park and the town centre itself is less than a five minute walk.
